Research Participant Brief: Exploring Lavender Marriages
We are students from the Mass Media Department at Jai Hind College, currently producing an academic documentary focused on the lived experiences of those in Lavender Marriages.
Objective
Our goal is to understand the human side of these arrangements—the personal feelings, the societal circumstances, and the complex reasons why individuals choose this path to navigate social expectations. We aim to present these stories with empathy, exploring the "why" behind these decisions without judgment.

Given the sensitive nature of this topic, we provide 100% guaranteed anonymity. If you choose to share your story, we will implement the following:
Visual Anonymity: Your face will never be shown. We use silhouette lighting and non-identifiable framing (see attached references).
Voice Distortion: Your voice will be digitally altered in post-production to prevent recognition.
Data Protection: No names, specific locations, or identifying details will be used.
Legal Assurance: We can provide a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed by our Head of Department.

This film is strictly for internal academic evaluation. It will be viewed only by our professors and will not be posted on YouTube, social media, or any public platforms.
