What are we?
First Contact (Quverse Foundation) is a non-profit organization that has been providing a safe space for the LGBTQ community to thrive on an everyday basis. FC has three parts - Metaverse, App, and Website. There are also WhatsApp groups that only FC members can be part of. Together, this LGBTQ world provides space for people from big cities and rural villages of India to connect just the same. LGBTQ folx and allies chill, work, and grow together in a safe space, and become part of a personal and professional queer network to rely on at any stage of life.
In the FCverse LGBTQ metaverse, we offer a unique digital space where members can co-work, study, and engage in various recreational activities. Whether it's engaging in meaningful conversations, playing exciting games, participating in karaoke sessions, or pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors, there's something for everyone. FCers join FCverse as tiny avatars with the option to interact just as in the real world and stay safe in ways not possible in the real world. The platform ensures a safe and anonymous experience, allowing individuals to express themselves authentically and connect with others who share their experiences and interests.
Our App and Website provide seamless access to the FCverse, enabling members to plan and participate in activities, connect with like-minded individuals, and explore a wealth of resources. From resources addressing personal and professional needs to opportunities for networking and collaboration, our digital platforms are designed to empower and support our community every step of the way.

Our Focus
We focus on BOTH personal and professional. Why? Because, besides absolutely necessary inclusive laws and policies, we can't truly live as we are unless we have:

Self-acceptance: Deeply understand how gender and sexual diversity are absolutely natural- even if the society is yet to recognize it (we're getting there). Growing up it's not just people around but we ourselves do not understand LGBTQ+ much. In an ignorant and only slowly progressing environment, we tend to internalize queerphobia in different forms- outright dissing community member to not wanting to associate with a certain section of the community. Unless we truly understand how it is all natural and normal, we can never live with the confidence we ought to.

Finance Independence: Achieve it to such an extent that we can not only support ourselves but our dependents (we're here to help each other get there and beyond). Earning is not enough, creating wealth is absolutely necessary.
FC has been made with rainbow love by queer folks for queer folks
First Contact has been started by two queer women, coming from non-metropolitan India and having also lived in metropolitan India done with the lack of space to connect with other LGBTQ+ community folks in an environment suited to us. They're building what they never had and what they will always need as queer people.
