need help with govt stuff

so i wanna apply for passport but i don't have any address proof of where i currently live. we don't have anything like a ration card or something... more like we didn't update it or something once we moved where i currently live rn like nearly 2 yrs back.

and let's say i want to change the address in my driving license since that's the only address where the house is the rental one. so will the rto ppl ask for any proof where i came there to change for the address proof?

the last part didn't make much sense and almost gave me a strope but i hope y'all understand.

Hi, I have recently applied for passport (waiting for document verification appointment).

There are three categories of documents: Address Proof, Birth Proof and no-ECR documents (only applicable if you come under that category). And you only have to submit one of the valid documents for each category.
